Our 1.5 Tesla High Field MRI, the Siemens Espree, is the first and only true 1.5T MRI on the market with short open-bore design. Now ALL patients can benefit from this advanced MRI imaging technology. With its compact length of only 4 feet and expanded bore with a diameter of almost 2 1/2 feet, it combines an unprecedented level of comfort with the image quality and diagnostic confidence of high-field MRI. We currently provide the Siemens Espree in Massapequa, Plainview, Merrick, Lindenhurst, East Setauket, and Medford.

The Siemens Espree MRI features many revolutionary advances that allow us to diagnose extremely challenging diseases quickly and with more confidence. TIM (total imaging matrix) broadens the performance spectrum of MRI technology, giving us unprecedented flexibilty, accuracy and speed. Our matrix coils are extremely lightweight and can easily be tailored to the anatomy or clinical question we are focusing on. With this type of flexiblity, repositioning patients and coils are now a thing of the past and scan times are extremely quick.

We are able to easily switch between different modes to ensure the most accurate results for every study we perform. Parallel imaging is a technique we use for extremely fast MR imaging with high spatial resolution and no artifacts. Another technique, diffusion imaging, allows us to better differentiate malignant from benign lesions. We aquire high-resolution 3D images at incredible speeds which provides exceptional clarity, even in areas of the the body that are hard to image like the base of the skull.
