Dr. Arthur N. Tamarkin is a Board Certified radiologist since 1986 and he joined Zwanger-Pesiri in 2007. Dr. Tamarkin obtained his BS degree at SUNY at Albany in 1977 and his MD degree at SUNY–Downstate Medical Center in 1981.

Dr. Tamarkin completed his internship, radiology residency and fellowship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident from 1985 to 1986. He completed his fellowship specializing in CT and ultrasound at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 1987. Dr. Tamarkin was an attending radiologist at Mercy Medical Center for 19 years. He now specializes in general body imaging and ultrasound guided special procedures.
