Dr. Mahvash Rafii is a Board Certified radiologist since 1975 and joined Zwanger-Pesiri in 2006. 

Dr. Rafii is an experienced and extensively published musculoskeletal radiologist with expertise in all aspects of Musculoskeletal Imaging including MRI, CT, conventional radiography and arthrographic techniques.  Dr. Rafii is nationally and internationally recognized for her work on CT arthrography and MRI of the shoulder joint. She has written numerous articles for publications and has also lectured extensively.

Dr. Rafii is a graduate of Tehran University School of Medical Sciences and completed her training at the New England Deaconess Hospital of Boston. Until recently, she was on staff of the Department of Radiology and a Faculty member at the New York University School of Medicine. She is currently an adjunct professor of radiology at NYU School of Medicine.
