Dr. David Dorfman is a Board Certified radiologist and was also Board Certified with added qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology in 1995 . He has been with Zwanger-Pesiri Radiology since 1998.

Dr. Dorfman received his undergraduate degree from the State University New York at Binghamton in 1980. He received his MD from the State University of New York Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.

Dr. Dorfman performed his general surgery internship at SUNY Upstate Medical Center. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. His interventional radiology fellowship was completed at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.

Dr. Dorfman was the former attending and Chief of Interventional Radiology at South Nassau Community Hospital from 1990 to 1995, Saint John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway from 1995 to 1998, and North Shore University Hospital at Plainview from 1998 to 2004. His publications have been published in the American Journal of Radiology.
