Sarah S. Chan, M.D. is a board certified radiologist since 2008 and joined the Zwanger-Pesiri team in August of 2009. She specializes in Musculoskeletal Radiology.

Dr. Chan received her BS (Summa Cum Laude) in Biology from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin in 1999 and her MD from the University of Wisconsin in 2003. While at Wisconsin, Dr. Chan was accepted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her internship at the Cabrini Hospital in New York City in 2004 and her residency in Radiology at New York University in 2008. During her residency, Dr. Chan received the RSNA Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award in 2006. She was a course lecturer at New York University Physical Therapy School in 2007, and in 2008, attended the RSNA Clinical Trials Workshop in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dr. Chan’s wide range of interests in radiology can be found in her numerous abstracts, presentations and publications covering advanced topics in Musculoskeletal MRI, rotator cuff tears, and abdominal CT imaging. With her diverse knowledge and experience, Dr. Chan’s leadership and proficiency is a great asset to our team.
